The Migrant Settlement Advocate is based in Kalgoorlie and assists recently arrived migrants to increase their knowledge of Australian society and develop independence to settle in the Goldfields.

The Migrant Settlement Service (SETS) is a free program that provides information, support and advocacy for most settlement related matters. SETS helps people access mainstream and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) Services including activities that foster client and community participation in the broader Australian community. Such as the meet and speak, learner driver mentoring and driver education, basic computer skills and networking, among others. Targeted support provided by Settlement Services grants assists in maximising productive diversity and social cohesion.
